If you’re looking for a barn wedding venue in Hertfordshire then we highly recommend The Priory in Little Wymondley. A barn wedding is so cosy. The beams and high ceilings create such a unique atmosphere. We filmed at The Priory in Hertfordshire for Ashleigh and Jamie’s wedding and it was so beautiful. We met them at Jess and Liam’s wedding day at The Watermill Hotel. After watching Mr and Mrs Sonner’s highlights film they booked us for their day too. The wedding day was filled with emotion and we loved capturing every special moment. Ashleigh’s kind words always makes us smile and we are so grateful they chose us.
Every time I watch our highlights film I cry! We can’t thank Veiled Productions enough. Our photos are amazing. The films are so well edited. Both Rachel and Pete were wonderful on the day. Thank you so much. You’ve captured the best day beautifully xxx

Ashleigh and Jamie’s wedding day at The Priory
Bridal preparations began in the cosy wooden cabin at Needham House Hotel. It was a busy morning with excitement in the air! The flowers by Michelle looked absolutely stunning so we took them outside to really capture the detail in natural light. Our favourite moment was when the bridesmaids and Ashleigh’s Dad saw her in her dress for the first time. There were so many happy tears! We tear up every time we watch it back. Ashleigh found her dress from Boxmoor Bridal Boutique and added the belt to complete the look. We love the added sparkle.
The ceremony
The emotions of the day continued into the ceremony. Ashleigh’s Dad was overcome with pride walking his daughter down the aisle and you could see both of them holding back the tears. Moments like these and seeing Jamie’s reaction too is one of the reasons I talk so highly of video. Being able to relive these moments a few months or a few years down the line is invaluable.
Jamie’s nan gave a special reading before the vows and exchange of rings. There was lots of laughter as she commented on how dark it was and she might struggle to read it! Our favourite moment was when she welcomed Ashleigh formally into the family.
Ashleigh and Jamie struggled to hold back the tears as they read their vows. Witnessing this love, we feel so privileged to capture these moments.
The Reception
Although there had been heavy rain on and off, the weather was on our side after the ceremony. The photo of everyone was fab because Pete climbed up the ladder to make sure everyone was in it. Eamonn the Toastmaster got everyone to cheer and hands went in the air, drinks went in the air and even babies in the air!
We love doing some couples shots in the evening in between the speeches and the first dance. Once again we were lucky with the weather and there was a break in the rain! Ashleigh and Jamie looked gorgeous.
Eamonn announced the first dance played by The Blue Rinse and soon everyone joined in the dancing. We love capturing the evening entertainment because everyone is always having a fantastic time! Dancing always looks fab on the video. We know some videographers who leave immediately after the first dance but we certainly don’t do that! Just before the band’s second set Ashleigh and her Dad danced together and it was such a wonderful end to the night.
