A day full of giggles! Leah and Nic's happiness was a joy to capture and after postponing their wedding a year due to Covid, the day was extra special!
Kind words
"OMG! The highlights is amazing!!! Thank you! More tears! We've watched the full length video so many times and each time we spot something else which is so lovely. Thank you."
EMMANUEL COLLEGE WEDDING VIDEO – LEAH AND NIC – A SNEAK PEEK
Edited within 72 hours of the wedding! Whilst I edit the longer films, couples enjoy a sneak peek of the day. It’s great for including some natural audio of the speeches and a few favourite clips from the day.

PREPARATIONS AT EMMANUEL COLLEGE
Leah and Nic both chose to get ready onsite at Emmanuel College to avoid any delays with traffic in the centre of Cambridge! From a videography perspective, I always recommend this as much as possible because it’s amazing how long it takes to move between venues.
Nic and his groomsmen made their final preparations upstairs in one of the rooms at Emmanuel College. The big windows made for some beautiful light, Damien captured some absolutely stunning photographs.
Nic chose the suits from Gray Palmer in Saffron Walden. The gorgeous button holes were created by the very talented Heidi Appleyard Floral Design along with the bride and bridesmaid bouquets.
UNIQUE WEDDING DRESS BY JUSTIN ALEXANDER
Leah’s beautiful gown was designed by Justin Alexander and her make up was styled by Lauren Siddons Be Fabulous. The whole look was beautiful and I just love the detail on the dress!
WEDDING CEREMONY IN THE CHAPEL CLOISTER
One of my favourite wedding entrances to the ceremony…look at the beautiful light and such a cool floor for a chapel! Leah and Nic were so excited too, such an honour to capture these special moments.
AFTERNOON RECEPTION IN THE GARDENS OF EMMANUEL COLLEGE
Leah and Nic went straight out of the chapel onto the lawn for a group photo of everyone. It was perfect because Damien and I could shoot from a first floor window to make sure we captured everyone’s faces!
After the group photo the newlyweds and their guests strolled through the beautiful gardens of Emmanuel College for their drinks reception.
WEDDING CAKE CUT IN THE AFTERNOON
Traditionally, the cutting of the cake happens before the first dance – that way it can be portioned for the evening. However, Leah and Nic chose to do the cake cut in the afternoon so it was ready to be served for dessert. We loved this because it meant no one missed out and none of the cake was wasted! The delicious cake was made by Daisy Cakes who happened to be one of Leah’s bridesmaids, so special.
Damien’s couples portraits of Leah and Nic are stunning! I loved joining them to capture the laughs during the photoshoot. During the photo session, and throughout the day, I always film discretely so not to interfere with the flow of the day.
WEDDING BREAKFAST IN THE MAGNIFICENT HALL
Another spectacular room within Emmanuel College – the magnificent hall – the large windows make for some beautiful photos. Damien’s work is perfect at capturing all the details as well as the natural moments with guests and Leah and Nic’s wedding was no exception. The gorgeous decor was supplied by Sweetpea and Me.
The speeches were brilliant with lots of laughs and a few poignant moments that made them really special. Often, couples appreciate their wedding film because they can watch the speeches back. It’s surprising how quickly you can forget what was said on the day.
PARTY IN THE OLD LIBRARY
So much fun partying the night away in the Old Library of Emmanuel College! Leah and Nic and their guests were treated to classic wedding tunes by Cambridge Wedding Services.
